Our Services
Dr. Shumaker is board-certified diplomates of the American Board of Periodontology, allowing them to offer a wide range of periodontal care at our Fort Collins office. Patients can take advantage of:
- Periodontal Care: We offer a variety of treatments to restore gum health. From treatment for mild gum disease to periodontal surgery, we provide comprehensive care. In addition to traditional treatment options, Dr. Shumaker can perform advanced techniques, such as LANAP® and the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique.
- Dental Implants: Dr. Shumaker is one of the few Diplomates of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) practicing in Colorado. Patients with missing or badly damaged teeth can undergo virtually every stage of treatment at our office. With a range of advanced implant technology, including a computerized tomography (CT) scanner, we can provide a safe, effective implant treatment.
- Cosmetic Periodontal Treatment: For patients who are dissatisfied with a low or uneven gum line, we offer cosmetic treatments, as well. We can enhance the appearance of your smile with procedures such as a crown lengthening treatment.
We provide several forms of sedation dentistry to ensure your comfort and minimize the effects of dental anxiety.

Our Fort Collins office is located in The Landings, on the west side of Warren Lake near Landings Park. We are in the Promontory Office Park is just east of S. College Ave.
If you are traveling south along I-287, take E. Boardwalk Drive and pass John F. Kennedy Pkwy. Our office will be on your right.
If you are traveling north on 1-287, take E. Troutman Pkwy and pass John F. Kennedy Pkwy. Our office will be on your left.
