Our doctors are highly skilled and qualified to perform all types of periodontal care. Each could lead a private practice, but their preference is to collaborate and work together as a team, enabling them to provide more focused care on their patients. All of our doctors are dedicated to utilizing the latest in dental technology and committed to the continuing pursuit of advanced education. Dr. Shumaker and Dr. Paris serve as co-directors of two professional study clubs, the Mountain West Dental Forum and the Rocky Mountain Dental Hygiene Study Club. Through these programs of shared techniques and clinical experience, they work closely with local peers to improve patient care in Northern Colorado.
Dr. Nicholas D. Shumaker
Dr. Shumaker has repeatedly been included in local media lists as a Colorado Top Dentist. A former officer in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, he practiced general dentistry for four years before becoming a periodontist. Dr. Shumaker holds advanced certification in general dentistry and board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is also one of few Colorado specialists to be named as a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
